David Mamet’s explosive drama examines the fickle nature of honour among thieves. As three small-time crooks plan one big-time heist, a tragedy of errors spins this razor-sharp and darkly funny play into a blistering account of divided loyalties, insatiable greed and a coveted Buffalo nickel.
Damain Lewis, known internationally for his Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning performance as ‘Nicholas Brody’ in Homeland, returns to the West End, alongside the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner John Goodman and Outer Critics Circle Theatre Award winner Tom Sturridge, in this major new revival directed by Daniel Evans.

Outstanding. Damien Lewis was mesmerising.
dislike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The play was very well executed, I enjoyed the settings - the actors were splendid However the price for the performance is getting ridiculous in London : 2 tickets / 2nd row in Royal Circle for £ 257,- is borderline. I
Just brilliant - captured the subject perfectly
Great waste of great actors
Not very funny, not very dark. Overrated.
Damian Lewis is amazing. thoroughly enjoyed the show. Great to have the chacne to go at such short notice.
It is a fantastic production. The play is thought-provoking and gripping and the acting from all 3 actors was superb.
Great version of a typical Mamet piece. Special credit to Tom Sturridge as Bob, a mercurial performance.
The show and acting was fantastic. Engrossing stuff. Absolutely recommended. All 3 actors were fantastic. Only disappointing thing was we were in the back row of the balcony and having people standing over you at the back made it very uncomfortable.
Ridiculously, laughably expensive. Every other aspect of the production was brilliant.
The opportunity to experience top rate acting talent was excellent.

The Elephant Man: Bradley Cooper Is Outstanding In Scott Ellis’ West End Transfer
Ellis and co.’s wonderful revival of Bernard Pomerance’s 1977 play began life in 2012, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, as a part of the town’s prestigious Theatre Festival. The production then went on to enjoy a highly-revered fourteen week run at Broadway’s Booth Theatre in late 2014. Now, the play has returned to its spiritual home, having been met with massive praise - and rightly so.

Everyone’s a Critic: The Gogglebox Effect
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a great believer in good theatre etiquette. That means no eating, no texting, no photography, no getting up to go to the loo halfway through, unless it’s an absolute emergency - basically, sit still, keep quiet and watch the show. Thank you very much.
I’ve ranted about this on many occasions, not that it seems to make much difference (I think the people who read and emphatically agree are not the culprits, sadly). But there’s a new habit I’ve noticed on the rise recently, and I’m going to christen it the Gogglebox Effect.
