This is the third time I've seen Motown. I love it as much now as the first time. Excellent show!

It was my 67th birthday treat paid for by my wife, and we both travelled from Bexhill in East Sussex to see it. She had booked two tickets in row "F" in the Grand Circle of the theatre which given the cost, was all she could afford bearing in our travelling costs, eating out, programme etc. On arrival for the matinee on saturday, the theatre was buzzing downstairs with lots of expectant people who had done the same as my wife in getting tickets. We found our way up to the top of the theatre by the stairs, and wow, on entry to it all, it really was a huge "WoW". Unfortunately, I suffer from vertigo a bit and we both didn't realise how high up we would be to watch the show. I tried sitting in row F and honestly I thought I couldn't go through with it, knowing all the costs, time spent etc. We moved to the back row in "J" seats with the same numbers hoping we wouldn't be in someone elses seats. Unfortunately we were, but the two very kind ladies whose seats we were sitting in, readily agreed to the swop, so both parties were happy. When the music started and the lights went out, I can honestly say with hand on heart, my thoughts that I couldn't go through with it, evaporated so quickly like melting snow. The introduction number and the rest of the production was absolute dynamite, it was Brilliant with a capital B. Every number, the dialogue, the live music, the dancing routines were done so well and all the cast put so much into it, it was breath taking. The half time interval came and went so quickly we were on with the show, and for the full length of it, we both didn't want it to end, but of course it did. She and I were so full of admiration for everything that occured in our stay, it honestly couldn't have been done any better, as I have already said, it was just "Brilliant". If I could afford to go and watch it again I would, that is the highest accolade I can give it. Well done to every one connected with the show.
